¡LOS YAQUIS! En 2013 en HERMOSILLO, los Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón ganaron la corona de la Serie del Caribe, la segunda para el equipo azteca y la número siete para México.

Luego de 54 Serie del Caribe con el mismo formato, esta serie inauguró un nuevo formato. La primera ronda de seis juegos en seis días se jugó con el acostumbrado todos contra todos. Los dos equipos que clasificaron: Leones del Escogido (5-1) y Yaquis de Obregón (3-3) jugaron el juego por la corona, en el séptima fecha, y el mismo fue un encuentro histórico; 18 históricos innings y un tiempo récord de 7 horas y 28 minutos. Al final, los Yaquis se combinaron con una victoria de 4 a 3 ante los Leones (Dominicana), y así se coronó campeón beneficiándose del nuevo formato.

YAQUIS! In a series held in Hermosillo, México Yaquis of Ciudad Obregon won the 2013 crown of the Caribbean Series. It was the second for the team and the seventh for Mexico.
