25th Annual Hispanic Achievement Awards Recap


Pay-O-Matic, New York Presbyterian Hospital and Western Union honor the Top NYC Latino Students and New York Yankee Dillon Bentances at Yankee Stadium.

New York City-May 23, 2015: Latinobaseball.com, presented the 25th annual Hispanic Achievement Awards at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, May 23, 2015. The Hispanic Achievement Award honors and celebrates the Top Latino students from the five boroughs of New York City. The Hispanic Achievement Award program has proven to be a motivating experience over the last 25 years for the students, their parents and educators alike.

Nomination forms were distributed to I.S/M.S Principals to select the outstanding Latino student from their schools who demonstrated scholastic excellence and leadership attributes Grade 6, 7 and 8th.

The Top 22 Students selected to receive the 2015 Hispanic Achievement Award were invited, along with two guests, to Yankee Stadium on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Honorees will be feted with their guest to a Yankee Suite where they received a Certificate of Excellence. They were also presented on-field before all the fans in attendance during a pre-game presentation to New York Yankee Dillon Betances for his contribution to the Latino Community on and of the field.
